Kaivospuu Oy was founded in 1999 in the old copper mining area of \u200b\u200bHammaslahti, where the company's name has its roots.<\/span><\/p>\n

Production and products<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Our production consists of sawing pine and spruce and we specialise in the production of healthy products in both types of wood.<\/p>\n

Of the total production volume, 85,000 - 90,000 m3 per year, just over half is pine.<\/p>\n

The log lengths of pine and spruce are 3.1 m and 4.3 m.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kaivospuu Oy hankkii puuta suomalaisista sertifioiduista metsist\u00e4. Puun hankinnassa noudatamme sertifioidun puun alkuper\u00e4n hallintaj\u00e4rjestelmi\u00e4 (PEFC ST 2002:2020 ja PEFC ST 2001:2020) ja (FSC-STD-40-004, FSC-STD-40-005). Kaivospuu Oy:ll\u00e4 on oikeus kansainv\u00e4lisen PEFC-merkin k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n (rekisterinumero FIN-PEFC-COC-1588).<\/p>\n

Environment <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Kaivospuu Oy procures wood from Finnish certified forests. In the procurement of wood, we follow a certified wood origin management system (PEFC ST 2002: 2013). Kaivospuu Oy has the right to use the international PEFC mark (registration number PEFC \/ 02-31-103).<\/p>\n

Kaivospuu has been awarded with the FSC certificate for the scope of:\u00a0Manufacturing of sawn timber, further processed products and by-products.<\/a><\/p>\n
