Kaivospuu

Kaivospuu Oy was founded in 1999 in the old copper mining area of Hammaslahti, where the company's name has its roots.

Production and products

Our production consists of sawing pine and spruce and we specialise in the production of healthy products in both types of wood.

Of the total production volume, 85,000 - 90,000 m3 per year, just over half is pine.

The log lengths of pine and spruce are 3.1 m and 4.3 m.

Environment

Kaivospuu Oy hankkii puuta suomalaisista sertifioiduista metsistä. Puun hankinnassa noudatamme sertifioidun puun alkuperän hallintajärjestelmiä (PEFC ST 2002:2020 ja PEFC ST 2001:2020) ja (FSC-STD-40-004, FSC-STD-40-005). Kaivospuu Oy:llä on oikeus kansainvälisen PEFC-merkin käyttöön (rekisterinumero FIN-PEFC-COC-1588).

Kaivospuulle on myönnetty FSC-sertifikaatti soveltamisalaa varten.

Environment

Kaivospuu Oy procures wood from Finnish certified forests. In the procurement of wood, we follow a certified wood origin management system (PEFC ST 2002: 2013). Kaivospuu Oy has the right to use the international PEFC mark (registration number PEFC / 02-31-103).

Kaivospuu has been awarded with the FSC certificate for the scope of: Manufacturing of sawn timber, further processed products and by-products.
